On Saturday 23rd May, five of us set off from Rose & Crown pub in village of Shorne and enjoyed a lovely sunny walk with some great views towards Chalk village and the Thames, finishing off with an enjoyable meal at the pub.

The following Tuesday 26th May, forteen of us did the same walk, and though we certainly lacked any sunshine, at least the rain stopped for the duration! The plucky diehards pressed on cheerfully, despite finishing up a bit wet and bedraggled at the end!
